Des Walter was born in 1930 and raised by Christian parents in a Godly environment. Des says, "On looking back now I feel my early life was more religious than Spiritual, but I am grateful for the Christian influence in which I grew up. At age 10, I responded to the call for salvation and accepted Christ and a little later was baptized in water. This resulted in a desire to study the Bible and I became involved in Open Air Evangelism, and after marriage, my wife and I entered missionary service for a number of years, upon returning I    was offered Pastoral ministry which continued until 1975. Through all those     years I was questioning some of the Traditional doctrines of the Church in my heart. I read every book I could lay my hands on looking for answers, but one day I was stopped in my tracks, not by some Bible Teacher or theological book, but by A STILL SMALL VOICE within me. For the first time in my life I HEARD THE VOICE OF GOD, and my whole life changed.

I would not trade what I have in God today for anything this world could give me. I feel so privileged to know HIM whom to know is life eternal, when all around me there are good people and yes Christian people, who strive to be    something and attain some position of authority over others, but never touch    the REALITY which is in God. I have discovered ETERNAL LIFE is not simply a life that never ends, but is a QUALITY OF LIFE that very few have even understood. Paul describes the  true quest when he said, "That I might know HIM and the POWER of his     resurrection…."
