THE ILLUSION OF LIFE

John's gospel, chapter 1, and verse 1, is where we will begin today. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." We need to understand what John is talking about, and understand how it relates to us today, because this is most important to us.

"In the beginning was the word." Now the "WORD" is the English translation of the Greek word, LOGOS, which you already know. The word LOGOS does not just mean the letters put together to form a word, but includes the thoughts behind the word, as well as the full intention that was in the heart of the person who speaks the word. So, when you hear the statement, “In the beginning was the WORD,” you realize that this WORD or LOGOS is the full expression of what God had in mind when he said “LET US MAKE MAN.” What he created at that time, was the expression of what God had in His heart. First of all God had in His heart to create something that would express what HE is, and to do that God was going to become a part of this creature that He would create, and not to be separated from it.

Remember when Jesus asked the disciples, “Who do men say that I am?” They really had no idea of his true identity because their natural eyes could only grasp the FORM. But because of the things that he was able to do some thought he was one of the prophets. But Jesus then directed the question to the disciples who had lived with him and heard his wonderful words. It was Peter that received the revelation by the spirit that "YOU ARE WHO GOD SAID YOU ARE, the SON OF THE LIVING GOD," The WORD God spoke in the beginning is what WE ARE! 

His words do not just echo off into space and are lost, but John tells us that THE WORD BECAME FLESH, (Jn 1:14) which is exactly what we are now outwardly. But of course the “Word” was not flesh in the beginning, it was SPIRIT AND LIFE. So now God is expressing himself through these “Earthen Vessels” to the world. Beloved can you grasp this? WE are HIS WORDS, and HIS WORDS ARE SPIRIT AND THEY ARE LIFE. This “Word” was first revealed in the beginning, but the natural man has found it difficult to grasp the mystery attached to the creation of MAN. But a further unfolding came hundreds of years later when Jesus was born of the virgin Mary. This expression of MAN clearly displayed the true intention of God as the manifestation of what MAN is and how he would function.

However, man BECAME flesh and blood in the Garden of Eden as he explored the alien world of “good and evil.” In order to inhabit such a world he must have a physical form, for “good and evil” are not a part of the realm of SPIRIT, in which God dwells. Hence we read that the “God Man” created in the beginning is now called the “Lord God,” and FORMED Man (as a potter would mold the clay) out of the dust of the ground. Gen 2:7.

This “forming” is not the creation of another “man,” but gave FORM to that original man who was PURE SPIRIT and therefore formless. Then into this physical FORM that SPIRIT MAN breathed the same life that was in himself. That is the SPIRIT that is in man, and as Job tells us, “The inspiration of the almighty giveth it understanding.” However, that SPIRIT in man has two parts as the creator declared, “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him, MALE AND FEMALE CREATED HE THEM!” Gen 1:27. Remember this man was created SPIRIT so we are not speaking here about a physical MAN and a physical woman.

So much of the Scriptures has remained a closed book to most Christians because they consider they are educated enough to be able to read and comprehend what is written. But let me remind you, that this is a SPIRITUAL BOOK, the truth contained therein is expressed by the Spirit of God and not by a natural man. Therefore Jesus told us expressly, “When the Holy Spirit is come, whom the Father will send in my name HE SHALL TEACH YOU ALL THINGS AND BRING ALL THINGS TO YOUR REMEMBERANCE WHATSOEVER I HAVE TOLD YOU.” Jn 14:26. It is in ignorance that we seek to understand that which is SPIRIT with the natural mind. This has resulted in the confusion of religious thought, that is known today in the world as Christendom. But if your heart is open to the voice of the spirit within you, “YOU will KNOW THE TRUTH AND THAT TRUTH WILL MAKE YOU FREE.”  

So what does the Word mean when it says that MAN was created MALE and FEMALE. Unfortunately in today’s world the concept of sexism has been totally distorted. Remember in the beginning MAN or THE WORD was SPIRIT had a SPIRITUAL BODY that had no physical form, for that was to come later. Therefore the Bible cannot be speaking about the physical differences between men and women. Neither did God create two people, one a MAN and one a WOMAN. We are told that God called THEM (male and female) ADAM, and not Adam and Eve! It was Adam who later called the woman Eve, but the reality is they were O-N-E.

Let us explore this “male and Female” aspect of man seeing as it is specifically mentioned in connection with the IMAGE OF GOD. The first female was taken OUT OF MAN, so we must conclude that she was originally an integral part of him. In Gen 3:23 Man is the Hebrew word “IYSH” and  woman is the Heb. word “ISHSHAH.” So we can see that they are very closely connected. In creation the male and the female were called ADAM by God, as they were ONE. Why should this idea of MALE and FEMALE seem strange, seeing as God is also MALE AND FEMALE.

When man functioned correctly the male or SPIRIT, and the female or SOUL would each contribute their own particular endowments, which in glorious spiritual union would produce CHRIST. However, if this spiritual aspect of Man became separated there would be a distortion of the image they would reflect. So we understand that ADAM came forth from the hand of the creator in perfect balance as male and female, the WORD that God spoke, that was spirit and life. Now we discover that the female part of this spirit being, called the SOUL, has determined to function as a complete entity in itself. Having certain inherent faculties including “MIND, EMOTION and WILL” that would allow the “soul” to function apart from SPIRIT. This developing EGO began to explore a “knowledge” that was outside the realm of the Garden.

In creation, this faculty operated in oneness with the spirit that was able to supply all the wisdom and knowledge of God, and having a womb she had the ability to birth the form suitable to that spiritual knowledge. However, when operating alone, the soul only had access to knowledge only through five senses, none of which were capable of accessing God. This new mode of operation made the Soul vulnerable to suggestions that did not originate in the SPIRIT.

The “Soul” had “Hi-jacked” God’s original intention bringing man down from his high spiritual estate into a world of illusion, and turning the Garden into a wilderness. The soul had the ability to reproduce what ever it believed itself to be. United with the spirit it would manifest CHRIST as its true identity. But alone, it could only turn inward and unite with its OWN MIND (the soulish mind) that no longer functioned out of spirit, and so became Carnal or Natural and so the offspring of that union resulted in MAN BECOMING A LIVING SOUL. 

As a “Living Soul” the spiritual world of reality faded, and Adam entered into a world that was physical and material, and the physical earth that now constituted their form, was destined to bring forth thorns and thistles. The “snake” or the Carnal Mind had now assumed control and found delight in developing expressions of himself through the MAN. But when the “Woman” was challenged she said, “The SERPENT DECEIVED ME UTTERLY.” Man as originally created with the male and female functioning as ONE, could never have been deceived, for the SPIRIT has all the knowledge of God.

That same wisdom was available to the SOUL while they functioned as ONE. But this divine ability to be able to SPEAK A CREATIVE WORD, even as Elohiym, had so captivated her that she developed an EGO within herself. This EGO produced its own identity separate from the spirit, and brought it to birth. It is called, A LIVING SOUL. Fortunately a limit was put on the “snake” that it could only function in the earth realm of their being, remaining on its belly, which prevented it from rising up and touching the higher realm of spirit.

How explicit are the Scriptures in depicting for us so clearly, the makeup and function of this creature called MAN created as SPIRIT in the beginning. The separation of the MALE and FEMALE aspects of  SPIRIT in MAN, reveals how man “became” a LIVING SOUL. Today many people cannot conceive that there is a higher form of life, and a reality that remains available to us if we as Living Souls would return unto the Lord. Man began to live life on the soulish or natural, physical level instead of the spiritual, heavenly, immortal level that was the intention of the creator. Sin and Death became an integral part of MAN’S WORLD, as the first offspring of these soulish parents was a MURDERER who killed his brother.

This state of affairs introduced into mankind a duality of good and evil that would bring a sense of guilt and separation, that would keep Man from approaching God. Thus to them the Garden was now out of bounds and the years would roll before man would find his way back  into fellowship with God. This duality was not imposed by God but was the result of the “Soul’s” disobedience, and the deception of the carnal mind, that in eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil they would become as Gods. Thus man existed on the earth as a living soul without a true sense of his real origin nor of the “Treasure” that had been deposited in him by God in the beginning. In a true sense Adam entered into a state of “SLEEP” (death) from which only the voice of the Son of God could awaken him. Scripture declares that man is, “Dead in trespasses and in sin.” Notice that the trespasses and sin is the result of this “DEATH STATE” of the LIVING SOUL.

LIFE and DEATH are both relative to our “God Consciousness,” for Eternal Life is to KNOW GOD, and Death is the sense of separation from God. We must understand that all this is the result of choices man made because of the separation of the soul and spirit. Notice that in Gen 2:24, God says, “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife, and they shall be ONE FLESH. Of course this verse is quoted in all weddings and certainly is applicable, but there must also be a spiritual connotation to it. We are not to look to any earthly ancestry to discover our identity, so our soul must discover its identity within as a part of the spirit in man. Then in that union of soul and spirit the birthing of our true identity takes place, and we discover that CHRIST, the likeness and image of God is who we are.

SOUL LIFE as we know it is but an illusion, but the deception is so complete that very few Christians even know where GOD IS. Even though in the beginning they were united in the same SPIRITUAL Body being both MALE and FEMALE. Most Christians seek God up in the sky in an etherial “heaven.” Others search through books for a knowledge that will make them as Gods. Most believe that a return to true Spirituality cannot happen in this life but only after death. Truly the carnal mind has deceived the whole world, and maintains its iron grip with the help of Christendom.

When did our existence begin and where? I know now my life did not begin for me seventy years ago in a little town up in the north of Queensland, when my mother gave birth to me. THE FACT IS THAT YOUR LIFE AND MINE, BEGAN BACK IN THE BEGINNING WITH GOD. Can you understand that? In James 1:18 we read, “Of HIS OWN WILL begat he us with the WORD OF TRUTH that we should be  kind of FIRSTFRUITS OF HIS CREATURES!” So you have always been the OFFSPRING OF GOD. Paul told the philosophers on Mar’s Hill, “God gives LIFE to all, and breath and all things. Acts 17:24-28.

In Ephesians 2:10, Paul said, "We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus."  We were created in Christ Jesus.  Why is it that we were created in Christ Jesus? Because God only ever created ONE MAN, not a thousand, not a million.  He only ever created ONE MAN, and that man was his only begotten Son, and we know Him as CHRIST, or JESUS CHRIST.  He was God's “only begotten son.”  Well, if He was the only man that God created, where does the rest of mankind come from? HE WAS MANKIND and he was NOT just a single person. Adam, in the garden of Eden, was not just a single person for he represents ALL of MANKIND. When you talk about Adam, it could be Adam James, Adam Morris, or It could be Adam Peter. It could be Adam anybody, because He was, in fact, the representation of all humanity. 

He was MAN or MANKIND, because that includes everybody, black and white, and yellow, “For God has made of ONE BLOOD (the seat of LIFE) all nations for to dwell on the earth.” ALL MEN WERE CREATED IN HIM. Adam represents ALL MEN. So, we were created as SPIRIT with a spiritual body in this WORD, which is CHRIST.

The body doesn't really matter too much, in the sense that God put Himself in all of creation.  So that means that anything on this earth that has life in it incorporates God. You can look at anything you like that has got life, and THAT LIFE IS THE LIFE OF GOD. He has put Himself IN ALL of creation. So the FORM is not really the issue. I can tell you that God is in all of the trees that you can see out there, but you can sit and look at a tree for a hundred years and not be able to truly know or understand God. You may understand some things about God. For instance, I think trees are pretty smart to be able to do what they do, to produce flowers and fruit. I can't make a flower or an apple, or an orange, or a plum, or a fig, but a tree can do it. Well, how come the TREE is so smart? Because God is in it.

So God is expressing Himself in a million different ways in this earth, because of the diversity of the form. Then we think, "Well, if God has made us in His likeness and image; then God must look like me."  But God did not create Des Walter as a physical flesh and blood being. He created me as spirit, and as spirit I must have a Spiritual Body. You cannot have an imperfect spirit. Neither can you have half a spirit, or a quarter of a spirit, or a third of a spirit. You either have the spirit or you don't have the spirit. If you have a spirit, you have the whole of the spirit, whatever that is, and THAT SPIRIT IS GOD.

Okay, now having said all of that, in John we come to the point where it says, "The Word was in the beginning with God", that is, God wrote an expression of Himself into a WORD that BECAME FLESH and we know him as Jesus Christ. One day Jesus asked the disciples who the people thought he was? They said some people think you are Elias or John The Baptist or one of the prophets, but they do not know. So he turned to the disciples and said, “WHO DO YOU SAY THAT I AM?” It was Peter who received revelation from God and the “veil” was lifted from his eyes to see the TRUTH, and he said, “Thou art the Christ the SON OF THE LIVING GOD.” John said, “And we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father full of Grace and Truth.” 

So we see that nothing had changed, for Jesus was born of a woman with a body of flesh and blood and yet his REALITY REMAINED behind the veil of flesh. Beloved when this revelation bursts upon your understanding YOU WILL AWAKE IN HIS LIKENESS.  Remember that Man was to manifest the likeness and image of GOD. Christ is the Likeness and Image of God. He is the anointing and the TRUE IDENTITY OF EVERY MAN. That is what the anointing is. It makes it possible for us to manifest what God is.

However the form has covered up, or concealed, if you like, the reality of what we are.  We look in the mirror and say, "That's me". The fact is that is NOT you. One day, if you happen to die, they will put your physical body in a box, but I'm sure nobody is going to come along and say, "Oh, that is Uncle Joe or whoever down there." NO, they will say, "that is his body." Isn't that right? You don't say that is a real person in that “coffin”. He is not there." Why? Because MAN IS SPIRITand that spirit is eternal and invisible in this world.

 So now you begin to understand that when we talk about "S-I-N", we have to refer to that which has form, because you can't talk about spirit and sin, because the SPIRIT IS GOD.  Do you understand? The whole religious world is confused because it says MAN IS A SINNER. However, if the reality of my being is SPIRIT, and my true identity is CHRIST who is the likeness and image of God how could I possibly be a sinner?

Turn to Second Corinthians 4:16 where Paul says, "For which cause we faint not.  But though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is being renewed everyday."  So you see there is a part of you that you can see, and a part of you that you cannot see. There is a visible part called the OUTWARD MAN, and there is an invisible part called the INNER MAN or spirit that is CHRIST. The outward man is flesh and blood, and is material, mortal and is related to this world. But that is not what God created in the beginning. We were NOT created as flesh and blood, We were created as spirit with a spiritual body.  And the whole illusion of life revolves around the fact that people consider that what we see is what we are. I want to tell you that God did not create you like that.  God created you AS SPIRIT, and that SPIRIT IS GOD!

So the outer man is perishing. Why?  Because it is not part of the eternal, and Paul says, “Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God.” Des Walter, as a mortal human being, with a flesh and blood body, cannot inherit the kingdom of God. It is impossible. What is it that is going to inherit the kingdom of God? THE SPIRIT and the SPIRITUAL BODY which is CHRIST the reality of who you are. How different is the outer man that seeks for love, peace, joy, and health from God and yet is never satisfied, and indeed it never can be for it has no reality to sustain it. It is the INNER MAN that needs nothing, asks nothing, and desires nothing, for it is connected to the inexhaustible supply, and is being renewed day by day.

There is no such thing as a SELF that is separate from God, only that which is part of the ILLUSION OF LIFE and part of the deception. We are born of INCORRUPTIBLE SEED and that seed cannot be corrupted. John said, “Whosoever is born of God does not commit sin, for his seed remaineth IN HIM and he CANNOT SIN, because he is born of God. If our consciousness is centered in the outer man then we will live on the human level, in constant lack and in the fear of death. But to live consciously in the INNER MAN which is CHRIST is ETERNAL LIFE. We are no longer fighting our mortality or disease, for they have no law of God to support their existence.

What does the Scriptures mean when it speaks of REALITY. Paul explains this to us in 2 Cor 4:18. “The things that seen, or are visible to the naked eye, ARE TEMPORARY, but the things that cannot be seen, these are ETERNAL.” Now we know that all the REALITIES are invisible to the natural senses. So everything we can see with our eyes has only temporary value and is passing away, and of course this includes our physical body. Do you not think it is strange that the vast majority of people, really believe the very opposite to what the Scriptures say. To them, what they can SEE, is the REALITY. This is proof of the veil that shrouds the minds of men, inducing a form of insanity that has blocked out reality.

Now mankind sees all that is passing away as reality, but God the creator and upholder of all things appears to be an illusion to the natural mind. Man now seeks God up in the sky and among the mystics and Eastern religions, following the theology of men whose vision goes no further than their own. So powerful is the illusion that it has captured the minds of men around the world. Some people say, "But isn't God sovereign on this earth?" I say, "NO. Why would the creator of the real heaven and earth, waste his time exercising sovereignty over this physical material earth that HE did not create. God is sovereign over his own kingdom, The kingdom of God.

Go back now to Genesis 2:4. "These are the generations of the heavens and the earth when they were CREATED, in the day that the LORD GOD MADE the EARTH and the HEAVENS." Now we must not miss what the spirit is saying to us here, as we are given an expanded understanding of this creation that was brought into being by ELOHIYM. For there is a GENERATION attached to it now, which speaks to us of a development associated with that first creation. Notice that in the second part of the verse it is no longer Elohiym, but Jehovah Elohiym who is FORMING (Heb. Yatsar) and not creating. Now the active participant is “The Lord God,” or JEHOVAH ELOHIYM which is a compound name. Jehovah Elohiym is not creating anything but he is MAKING (Heb. Asah) an EARTH and a HEAVENS.

This raises several questions for which we need answers. First of all who is this Jehovah Elohiym? Jehovah is the Tetragramaton or the “YHWH,” or Yahweh but was written in early days as Kurios or L-O-R-D. The Hebrew meaning, although there is much conjecture about the vowel points is generally accepted to mean “THE EXISTING ONE” or is better know as, “I AM THAT I AM.” So now we have this dual Name linking the Creator Elohiym, with Jehovah, the “I AM.” With the spirit enlightening our understanding we can see that this composite one is the “GOD MAN” created in the beginning. There cannot be TWO GODS but in creation Elohiym invested himself in this MAN he created.

Israel remained adamant that their GOD was ONE, but notice in Deut 6:4 it says, “Hear O Israel, the LORD OUR GOD is ONE LORD.” Moses is saying, “The LORD, YEHOVAH, the existing one, who is OUR GOD Elohyim, is ONE LORD (Yehovah). Can you grasp this. Yehovah and Elohiym are not separate entities but they are ONE! There is no God that is distinct or separate from his creation. Now let us go to the New Testament and see if that agrees with what we have discovered. Phillipians 2:10, “That at the Name of JESUS (Yehovah) every knee should bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ (Yehovah Christos) is Lord (Yehovah) to the glory of God the Father.” This is the one that Peter identified in Matt 16:16 saying, “Thou art CHRIST the SON of the Living God.”

Christ is the equivalent of the Hebrew word MESSIAH in the Old Testament, so the link carries through from the Old to the New Testament, identifying “Man” as a son of God. Further more, the Savior who is Christ the Lord, is also “Man” who is also Yehovah. Is not this also confirmed by Paul in 1 Cor 15:20-23. “But now is Christ risen from the dead and has become the firstfruits of all those who went to sleep in Adam. For since by MAN came death, BY MAN CAME ALSO the resurrection of the dead. Just as IN ADAM (MAN) ALL DIE in exactly the same way, IN CHRIST shall all be made alive. But every MAN in his own order, CHRIST THE FIRSTFRUITS and afterward they that are Christ's, when he appears (in them).  

Writing by inspiration John says, “In the beginning was the WORD and the WORD was with God and the WORD WAS GOD.” So John obviously established the connection that Moses alludes to in Genesis, that God and MAN had in a mystical way become ONE and could never be separated. The natural mind has no understanding of these things, considering such an idea negates God and replaces him with mankind, which is absurd. This “Man” then is the Messiah of the Old Testament, and the CHRIST of the New. Remember that first and foremost, the Heavens and the Earth of creation, speak to us of “MAN” who is a “heaven” where God dwells, and also an “Earth” over which the Heavens rule. The natural tendency has always been for man to reach UPWARD towards God rather than downward towards the earth.

So when Scripture speaks of the generations of the “Heavens and the Earth” this concerns mankind and the time when the “Lord God” who was created in the likeness and image of God, M-A-D-E- (Heb. “Asah”) the EARTH and the HEAVANS. Notice the reversal of these two parts, as the Earth (The form) comes first, in the generation of mankind. The original MAN was created SPIRIT, but in the generations, the EARTH or physical material form, comes first, and then the HEAVENS. “And the Lord God FORMED man of the dust of the earth, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of Life, and man BECAME A LIVING SOUL.” Gen 2:7.   

Let me tell you this again, even though I have told you many times. In Genesis 1, when God had finished all of creation, if you had stood there with Him, you would not have seen a thing, because the whole of creation is spiritual. There is nothing physical or material in the creation of God because everything came out of God that is SPIRIT. Everything that God created in the beginning, always will be, for it can never change in its original form, because look at this: Gen 2:1, “The heavens and the earth were finished and all the host of them, and on the seventh day God ended His work, which He had made, and he rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made, and God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because that in it He rested from all His work, which God created and made."  God lifted the whole of that creation as He sanctified it into the realm where change and decay could never come. 

You can bring on your world governments.  You can bring on your world banks and all the other stuff that's going on in the world today. Nothing is going to change God's plan, and nothing is going to alter His original intention. Can you hear that?  NOTHING.  That's why I don't give two buttons really about what is happening in the world. I know we've got to live in the world, but I want to tell you, I see that the end of the story is, that GOD IS ALL AND IN ALL.   That is why we need to get our eyes on God, for he is the ROCK of our Salvation. God is the only one that is stable. 

Anything that you can see with your eyes is just going to go up and down.  The cost of fuel will go up and down, probably more up than down. The dollar probably will keep going down, rather than going up.  All of these things will keep on changing.  Society will change.  Governments will change. Everything will change. But GOD NEVER CHANGES, and in terms of reality, neither does that which He has created.  

Now we must ask the question, “Where then did the physical material world come from, if it was not created in the beginning?” The first thing we notice is that it was the LORD GOD that gave man his physical body. The GOD – MAN, Jehovah Elohiym, formed man out of the dust giving him physical form. Then who brought forth all the other physical representations in the world around us? John tells us plainly, “And ALL THINGS were MADE by him (The WORD) and without him was not anything made that was not made. In HIM was life and the LIFE was the LIGHT of men. And the LIGHT shines in darkness and the darkness comprehended it not.”

So what is the answer to our question as to who brought forth the physical world around us? The answer is MAN who began to function out of a natural mind. But is there a reason why this physical world is necessary for us today? The answer is, “Only if you do not desire to live in the realm of spirit in which you were created.” When man took the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil it altered his perception. Adam had walked with God in the Garden, in beautiful oneness sharing the whole spiritual creation, until he partook of the Tree of the Knowledge of good and evil. But then his spiritual eyes that enabled him to see and fellowship with SPIRIT were closed, and now he was locked into the physical material world for that is all he could see. In this dynamic change he lost sight of GOD, who is not a part of the physical material world.

So now, here is the next verse. Gen 2:5 “The generations of the heavens and the earth, and every plant of the field before it was in the earth." What's that? "Every plant before it was in the earth."   "And every herb of the field, every tree of the field, before it grew, for the Lord God had not caused it to rain on the earth, and there was not a man to til the ground", before all this. So where were the trees then?  Where were all the animals then?  Where were all the birds then?  Where were all the flies then?  They were all in the spiritual world. Can you hear this? They were all in the spiritual world. And the reality of all CREATION is still in the spiritual world and has never changed. All we see today is the illusion, that is the physical manifestation interpreted by our mind or consciousness. 

Why is it that some people look out on a world, seeing it filled with wickedness and evil. To them everything is bad, its all crazy, and that is all that they see. I've got people that are like that who Email me because they are filled with fear, because of the evil in the world. But these people see the whole world like it is going down into some black hole. And they are hanging on, trying to stop from going down with it. But then somebody else looks out on the world and says, "Isn't God wonderful for this is a wonderful world"! Yes, because you can see God in everything.  Now, what is the difference? The difference is determined by your consciousness, depending on whether you are governed by the CARNAL mind or the mind of CHRIST!

The carnal or natural mind is the negative mind that is birthed out of the illusion of life. The whole basis of Christendom revolves around this thing, and this is why the traditional doctrines have destroyed the truth.  They have destroyed the truth, because they have made the ILLUSION the REALITY.  With great sincerity the preacher tells the people, “You are all sinners because you were born in sin and shapen in iniquity.” But that preacher has never seen reality, but to him the illusion appears to be the reality. That's NOT the reality. "FREE WILL" has nothing to do with SPIRIT, it has to do only with the ILLUSION.  And I say, "the illusion", because that's exactly what it is. Do you realize most people are living in a dream world, and that dream world was created by Adam. 

When the “Lord God” put Adam to sleep in the garden HE NEVER WOKE UP! MANKIND IS STILL ASLEEP! Dreaming on. How do you wake up? You wake up when you hear the voice of the Son of God. Now that is rather radical, what I have told you this morning, but it is TRUTH nevertheless, even though it is radical. But you see, until we understand the difference between REALITY and the ILLUSION, you will never be able to walk with God. And that's why I believe that we need to understand these things that we are talking about now. 

Well, its like the little girl who has her dolls all set out there and, you know, she's bathing them, and she's making believe that these are real, even to the point that one of them cries, so she picks it up and cuddles it.

ITS AN ILLUSION.  ITS IMAGINATION!!!  But, we do not destroy the child that does that, because its part of life, but when you get to be an adult, and you are still playing with the illusion (dolls), you start to wonder, "Who is sane in this world"?  Are there any sane people, or are we all crazy?  Well, the fact is that I think the majority of people out there should be locked up. Because all we are doing is just playing with an illusion.  We are playing with an imagination, that "what I see in the mirror is ME.” I am very concerned about how I look, and how people appreciate me, and whether they like ME, or if they don't like ME", and all of these things.  All of this becomes so important, because we are totally wrapped up in the illusion.  

Gen 2:7. "And the Lord God formed man." Did you notice the word "formed" there? It is the Hebrew word "yatsar", which means to mold, like a potter would mold the clay. This is NOT CREATION. Who molded your being? YOU did. And you have become the person that you BELIEVE that you are. And all our personal traits, all of these characteristics, which most time we would probably blame just on our genes or whatever, they are things that we have built into ourselves, into our lives. We have built them in, because of the effect of parents, and the effect of school teachers, and so on, is quite enormous in our lives.

That's why parents can say to their kids, "It's wrong to tell a lie", and that doesn't mean a thing to the kids.  Oh they'll know its wrong to tell a lie, of course, they will tell you that, if you ask them, but they will still tell a lie. Why? Because they see their parents lying so it must not matter.  You put the ten commandments up on the wall, but that will not stop your children sinning, because it never stopped their parents sinning.  

You can change knowledge, you can twist it. You can perceive it from a different angle to everybody else, and you say, "Well, I don't see it like that, I see it like this". That is knowledge, and knowledge is NOT absolute.  Not only is knowledge not absolute, but the only knowledge that has TRUE REALITY is the KNOWLEDGE OF GOD, and that is LIFE. For John 17:3 says, "THIS IS LIFE ETERNAL TO KNOW THEE." THAT IS WHAT ETERNAL LIFE IS: TO KNOW GOD. This is LIFE!  It is NOT a knowledge system, which the church has made it to be.

How do you become a child of God?  You've got to be born into a family to become a child of that parent, haven't you? Well the truth is that you were CREATED BY GOD AS HIS OFFSPRING IN CREATION. Therefore you are already a Child of God because that is the way you were created! You can either believe the TRUTH or you can believe the ILLUSION which is a LIE. Christendom has put people into bondage by providing their own criteria for becoming Children of God thus enslaving them to the religious system, that can never release you from slavery. 

That is the story.  So now, we have the "word" that was in the beginning with God.  God had written an expression of Himself and put it into THE WORD THAT IS MAN.  But in Genesis 2:7, we read, "And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the earth, and then breathed into his nostrils the breath of lives"  (plural) " and man became a living soul."   He was not created a living soul.  He became a living soul. What does it mean to be a living soul?  Well, it means "to live out of ONE aspect of your invisible spirit being - which is the soul." The soul consists of the mind, the emotions, and the will, and the whole of your life can be lived and expressed through these.

That is all you need to live your life on this earth, to be successful, to make money, to be happy, to have what you want. However the limitation is that you will only be able to live as a LIVING SOUL. This excludes you from the realm of spirit, which is the realm in which God Lives. This also means that your mind will become the active part of your control system, and because the mind becomes the active part of your control system, whatever your mind believes is going to be your reality. BUT THAT WAS NOT HOW YOU WERE CREATED, for you came from creation as CHRIST A SON OF THE LIVING GOD.

However, when you were born into this world, everybody around you denied the truth but reinforced the illusion.  THAT ILLUSION soon became engraved in your mind which declared it to be reality. Then the child grows up a little bit, and you tell him, "Don't you talk to a stranger. Do not talk to men you don't know. I mean they are all pedophiles out there." If she is a girl, then don’t talk to any stranger because the world is full of rapists and kidnappers. It is not long before you have created the illusion, "This is life, I'm telling you son, this is the reality. This is the reality of life."

You haven't taught them the reality of LIFE at all!  You have simply educated them into the illusion. Can you hear this? This to me has become such a reality and that is why I preach it. You became a 'living soul, BUT YOU WERE CREATED AS SPIRIT with a spiritual body. So we always read of the “Salvation of the Soul” and not the spirit because it is the “Soul” that has taken the reality from us and deceived us with the LIE.

How did MAN become a Living Soul? It was through the soul, which is the female aspect of the Spirit beginning to function apart from the Spirit. This turned the MIND of MAN, which is a part of the soul into the Serpent, that is more subtle than any beast of the field. Remember this mind had functioned with all the knowledge and wisdom of God as part of Spirit. However, now it had no spiritual restraint, so it began to express the ego that the soul birthed. What then is the solution to this distressing situation? The MIND must be “sanitised” from its soulish thinking by being RENEWED in the Holy Ghost and reunited to the Spirit to function again as one. This renewed Mind is called, “The Mind of Christ.”

And what is the mind of Christ? Phillipians 2:5, "LET THIS MIND BE IN YOU WHICH WAS ALSO IN CHRIST JESUS." Just think about it. What does he say? Paul doesn't say to you, "Now listen, you're a bunch of sinners and I want you to stop sinning and start doing the right thing."  He doesn't say, "You are all evil, and I want you to start to be good."  What does he say?  "Let THIS MIND be IN YOU", because nothing will change in you until your mind changes.  And I am not talking about swapping this idea for that. This has nothing to do with some New Doctrine. Neither has it to do with which Church you may happen to belong to. This is the total removal of the mind that functions out of the five natural senses. This is the cleansing of the WOMB in man that has birthed SIN and DEATH.

Now to explain this to you we have to use nature again. What does it mean to have a new mind?  Well, let's go back now to the caterpillar that is living on the plants out there, eating the leaves. If I said to the caterpillar, "Now listen, I've been to school and I know about you guys, and I know that inside of you there is a butterfly and you can fly." He would say to me, "You are crazy." Why?  Because he's got the mind of a caterpillar. What does the mind of a caterpillar tell him? "You are a caterpillar. Stupid! That guy thinks you can fly, but you know perfectly well that Caterpillars cannot fly. Caterpillars eat the leaves of trees and they walk one step after the other, because that is what a caterpillar does. You could argue with that caterpillar until you are blue in the face. You will never convince him he is anything, but a caterpillar, because he has the MIND of a caterpillar. BUT, one day he forms a chrysalis and the caterpillar is inside there and a mysterious change takes place called METAMORPHOSIS. When it is complete there comes forth a beautiful Butterfly.

Listen! This butterfly, if he had the MIND OF A CATAPILLAR, what would he say, "I can't fly." He would be looking for a leaf to chew. But with that new IDENTITY comes a NEW MIND, called “The Mind of Christ.” Does this sound familiar to you?  All the things "I can't do."  WHY?  Because your MIND says you cannot do it. "Oh, mathematics is too hard. I can't do it. I can't read because it is too hard". So you see the mind determines what you can and cannot do!  Every “Living Soul” is limited by the MIND. What mind, are you functioning out of? If you are functioning out of the natural or Carnal mind it will tell you, "You was born, and you are going to die." You came from the dust, and you are going back to the dust. The carnal Mind says,” You are a mortal, flesh and blood being, and you will die.”

I have a mind that is suited to a body, which is mortal, and that mind is great if you want to live out of your mortality. Come on. Are you hearing this?  If all you want to do is to live out of the "illusion of your being, out of your mortality", then you've got a great mind to help you do it, and if you think that everything on this planet is all that you need, go for it, man. You might even end up President of the United States, who knows.  Are you hearing what I am saying?  You have the perfect mind to live as a mortal human being on this earth. BUT, if you have any desire to manifest Christ on this earth, or live in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, or to live in the kingdom of God, or to live without disease or sickness, or without any lack then you must have THE MIND OF CHRIST!

Can you hear what I am saying, because this is the MYSTERY OF LIFE. You have a perfect mind to live on this earth, subject to all the limitations of humanity. This means you are subject to sickness, death, rape, murder and accidents, and all the other nonsense that goes on in this crazy world. You've got the perfect mind to live in that realm.  But if you want to live in that realm in which CHRIST LIVED, and be able to do what he did, and so escape the corruption that is in this world, you must have the Mind of Christ.

THE VEIL

Jesus said, “I can of my own self do nothing.” However, he went about his ministry healing the sick, raising the dead, feeding the hungry and destroying the works of the devil. He also declared, “I and my Father are ONE.” Then later said, “If you have seen me you have seen my Father.” So we begin to understand that there was IN HIM an invisible link that made him ONE WITH THE FATHER and this true “self” now replaced the illusion of the LIVING SOUL. Here is the secret of knowing God correctly and at the same time discovering our true identity, out of which we are able to function as God intended.

This is the CHRIST experience that is totally denied by the illusion of the “SELF” that is generated by the Carnal mind. Today we have the choice of LIFE and DEATH set before us just as Moses did for Israel. He said, “I call heaven and earth to record against you, that I have set before you LIFE and DEATH, blessing and cursing, therefore choose LIFE that both you and your seed may live.” In this Israel becomes an example to us as we see the result of their choice. Moses told Israel to RETURN UNTO THE LORD, and if they did then God would release them from all their enemies that would seek to enslave them. Also he would bring them into the land he promised to them, where they would have no lack. All this would be the reality of their lives if they listened to the voice of the LORD THY GOD.

Now what I am sharing with you here is not some sermon about living a better life, but I am exposing the realities that became a part of your being in Creation, but are still ignored by so many. Moses says, “This commandment which I command you this day, is not hidden from thee, neither is it afar off. It is not up in heaven, as if we have to wait for someone to come down out of the sky to bring it to us. This Word of the Lord is not in some foreign land like India or Tibet which would mean a long journey to go and receive it. NO NO! Beloved, hear the Word of the Lord to YOU TODAY, “THE WORD IS VERY NEAR YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART, THAT YOU MAY DO IT." Deut 30.

So this “WORD” is what you are! You are the WORD created in the beginning in the likeness and image of God. You are what God said you are when you were created. Then what has changed for us now? NOTHING except our perception of reality. We have believed the SNAKE’S LIE and eaten of the tree of knowledge instead of the TREE OF LIFE. We have believed the illusion now to be the reality. But Paul obviously saw through the illusion and said, “I can do all things through CHRIST that dwells IN ME.” Christ is not up in the sky where Christendom has put him, waiting for him for 2000 years to return. Paul saw CHRIST as part of his being ready and able to function, just as he did in the life of Jesus.

So the “VEIL” is that ILLUSION which separates Man from God removing the reality and replacing it with the  darkness that shrouded man’s eyes, accepting the LIE to be the REALITY. In this “Illusion of Life” there are a number of issues that we must understand.  First of all, the concept of there being TWO POWERS, and two “Self’s” within, in conflict with each other. This means that God is the source of all the evil that is in your life. However, God has never visited upon you any form of punishment, disease or strife, and God has never been responsible for any evil that is in the world.

I would like to remind you that the account of Noah and the Flood is not about a GOD who saved one family but destroyed the rest of the world. It represents the Law of sowing and reaping, that some people call KARMIC LAW. For in any age where there is a people that live to gratify the Flesh, they can expect a flood of one kind or another that will destroy them. Sowing to the Flesh will inevitably result in a flood that will often remove the people with the evil. But do not place the responsibility on God, for it is the result of a natural law set in motion in the beginning, that says whatever YOU sow, that is what YOU will reap. There must be no fear of intimidation in God for us, for GOD IS LOVE. There cannot be GOOD and EVIL IN GOD. This is the greatest bondage  into which the “ILLUSION” has brought the whole religious world. This is the one basic error that religion has used to keep mankind bound to all its human theology, that BOTH GOOD AND EVIL come from God.

The truth is that our God IS ONE, GOD IS LOVE, and not love and hate or good and evil as we have been told. I can hear the religionists saying, “What about Isaiah 45:7. “I form the light and create darkness. I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.” The “I” used here is YOU, it is MAN created in the likeness and image of God but now functioning out of the carnal mind. It is MAN living out of the illusion, creating evil and darkness. The paradox is that even though man brought sin and death into the world yet he retains his original status in God as the “Lord God.”

Did you know that some years ago an English Bishop wrote a book in which he suggested that the Church needed to present a new IMAGE OF GOD to the people. Some of the biggest names in the Christian Church each contributed a chapter, but they all agreed that a new Image must be given of God, to the world. However they also all agreed that it must not be the TRUE IMAGE of God that is given to them, as they must retain some of the false image. This book was called, “The Great Debate.”

Here is where we discover the hold Christendom has over its people. They have deliberately hidden from the people the TRUE IMAGE OF GOD. Even though many people were leaving the Church, they knew that if the people discovered the TRUTH about God it would decimate the Church all together. So the deception has been continued, right to this day.

We must now look at Moses who we are told, “Put a veil over his face that the children of Israel might not see into the reality of the vanishing splendor that had been upon it.” It is most important that we discover what that veil was, and when it was lifted from Moses, and why he had to put it back on later. The answer to these questions is found back in Ex 3, after he had been attracted by the “Fire of God” in the bush.

For the first time Moses came face to face with God not in any formal way, but through a fire in a bush, yet the bush was not consumed. Moses discovered that the fire represented God dwelling in man. He needed that revelation because he had committed murder, and his guilt remained so that he was actually afraid of God, until this confrontation. Moses needed to understand that God was not the God of good and evil he had always believed, he was a cleansing fire within him, consuming all that was dross and so purifying the “gold.”

Moses was also part of that nation who had been taken over by the Egyptians, turning them into slaves. He knew that Israel was a chosen nation so he could not understand why such a nation could be enslaved. However, Israel here is a picture of the entire human race. But for the first time, Moses saw God as being a part of himself, and he was at that time initiated into the ranks of those like Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. God said to him at the burning bush, “Moses take off your shoes for the ground whereon you stand is HOLY.” Why was the ground where MOSES was standing HOLY, if God was in the burning bush?? BUT God was IN MOSES standing exactly where Moses was standing!! 

Moses was conscripted for the task of delivering Israel from the Egyptians but the truth was yet to penetrate his natural mind, releasing him from his own slavery. He argued with God giving every reason he could find, to disqualify himself for the job because his mind told him the mission was IMPOSSIBLE. But he could not win. Then the great sign that seemed to overcome his reluctance to accept the divine will was given to him. God said, “I will surely be WITH YOU and when you have brought Israel out of Egypt you will meet me here again on this mountain.” This broke the power of the fear of death that remained in him.

But Moses had yet another question that had to be answered, “When I come to the Israelites and say to them, The God of your Fathers has sent me to you, and they say to me, WHAT IS HIS NAME, what shall I say unto them?” God said, “I AM THAT I AM. And you shall say to the children of Israel “I AM” has sent me unto you.” In this revelation God had totally identified himself with Moses and all of mankind. Because when Moses said to Israel “I” AM, has sent me to you, they instinctively knew the “I” is GOD. This revelation when grasped by the spirit will turn every man into a deliverer.

What then is that veil that Moses put on after taking it off. The revelation of the NAME OF GOD removed the veil when he said that his NAME IS “I” or “I AM.” This was the truth that lifted the veil off the mind of Moses allowing him to deliver the whole nation of Israel without a gun or a sword and without an army, from the greatest nation on the earth at that time. “I” is the impersonal nature of God. However, the High Priest was the only one who was allowed to know the Name of God. In Ex 34:33-34, we are told that Moses put the veil on his face when he spoke with the people but took it off when he went in to speak with the Lord. Why did Moses put the veil back on when he spoke with the people?

In the Garden of Eden after Adam ate the fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of good and evil, God’s concern was that now man might ALSO put forth his hand and eat of the TREE OF LIFE AND LIVE FOREVER! Beloved those who are living in the illusion have been divinely prevented from now eating of the TREE OF LIFE until the Illusion has been broken. Any preacher that thinks because they understand the true nature of God, that they can now impart it to whoever they desire is still being deceived. I have shared with some people for years without there being a divine awakening, for until the divine LIGHT is turned on within they will not SEE. Otherwise we would have CARNAL MINDED PEOPLE LIVING ETERNALLY!!

So when Moses spoke with Israel who were a carnal minded people his face was veiled lest they see the REALITY break through. Notice that the disciples had been with Jesus for some time before he selected just three of them to go up into the mountain. This was divine selection for these three only saw the incarnated GLORY of God in a MAN, bursting forth as light from his inner being. Their spiritual comprehension was revealed as Peter suggests they build three Temples in which the people could worship which ever personality they felt drawn to!! This is the Peter who not so long ago who saw the “CHRIST the Son of the Living God” in Jesus. They were commanded not to speak to anyone concerning what they had seen until, “The Son of Man be risen from the Dead.” (in the people)

Gen 3:24. We read that God put CHERUBIMS and a Flaming Sword at the East of the Garden to KEEP THE WAY OF THE TREE OF LIFE. Just think about it for a moment how man views this scene. Adam has been put out of the Garden and to prevent his return God puts Cherubim at the East of the Garden. Cherubim are mythical creatures pertaining to the holiness of God, and were figures that over looked the mercy seat. There is there also a FLAMING SWORD. For Israel, God was always associated with fire. In their wanderings it was the pillar of FIRE that guided them at night through the desert. They never saw God but they knew God was in the fire. So this “GUARD” protecting the Tree of Life never really posed any real threat to Adam yet he never even tried to re-enter the Garden. The reason is the VEIL.

In the Tabernacle there was a VEIL separating the Holy Place from the Most Holy Place where God dwelt. Not a Rock wall, or an impenetrable barrier but simply made of cloth, yet no one ever tried to go through that VEIL, WHY? Because woven into it were the Cherubim and that was sufficient to keep Israel out of the Most Holy Place. Many stories which became folk lore grew up around that veil, but it was never violated. The word used for the Flaming sword is connected with enchantment, and for people living out of ILLUSION that is a powerful symbol. I do not read beloved that the Flaming Sword or the Cherubim were removed, but I hear the Apostle Paul say to us who have stepped out of the ILLUSION into REALITY,

“ Having therefore boldness to enter into the HOLIEST by the blood of Jesus, by a NEW AND LIVING WAY, which he has consecrated for us THROUGH THE VEIL, that is to say HIS FLESH and having a High Priest over the house of God LET US DRAW NEAR.”

So beloved the VEIL is an ALTERED REALITY created through the confusion of the REAL and the IMAGINED and based upon FEAR and the Illusion. However there is a ministry of Grace in the Veil for if the carnal mind could touch that reality the illusion could never be destroyed. God said to Israel, “Hear ye indeed but understand not, and see ye indeed but perceive not. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and be converted and healed.”

So it was not until the WORD became flesh that the mystery was revealed, but even then only a few seemed to break loose from the Illusion. Even the disciples seemed to take quite a while to come to grips with the reality. So today we are not seeing everybody eager to touch the reality that is in Christ. Christendom  has converted the ILLUSION into a religion thus increasing the confusion.

Jesus Christ revealed clearer than any one else had ever done, that “I” IS GOD. “I” is the bread of Life. “I” is the resurrection, “I” is life eternal. “I” am come that you might have LIFE and have it more abundantly. “I” will never leave or forsake thee. However in just a few short years the veil had been brought back by Christendom, so now it is not “I” AM THE WAY, but JESUS IS THE WAY. God had again been personalised. The truth is not that Jesus was God,  but “I” am. I want you to see beloved that once we personalise God we have put the veil back on and the TRUTH can no longer break through. A true understanding of God will make you free and remove every limitation anyone may try and put on your life.

The truth is not simply that Jesus IS THE WAY, but “I:” AM THE WAY the truth and the life. “I” in the midst of you is mighty. Listen, “Be still and know the “I” IS G-O-D, this is the “I” in the midst of YOU who has never left you, even if you walk through the valley of the shadow of death “I” will be with you so FEAR NOT. When you perceive the nature of God is the impersonal “I” the OMNIPOTENT, the OMNICIENT, and the OMNIPRESENT ONE, the veil will drop from your eyes and you will see God face to face. No longer will we pray asking God to do this or heal that, for he is the “I” that “I” AM.

No one will enter into the Kingdom of God that has not discovered that, “I” and my Father are ONE. We may say that God is LOVE, but that does not really express God. We may say that God is Light but neither does that fully express God. We can use any word we like but it can never truly express God like we do when we say, “Be still and KNOW that ”I” is God.” This “I” of course is the “I” Paul spoke of when he said. “I am crucified with Christ nevertheless “I” live yet it is not the flesh and blood I, but CHRIST THAT LIVETH IN ME.” That “I” is your LIFE it is not the flesh and blood YOU, but God is that invisible mystery that can never be separated from the creature he created, called MAN.                          

Now we can believe what Jesus said, “The things that I do you can do also, and greater things than these shall you do because I go to my Father.” The miracles were only miracles to people who lived out of the illusion of life. For in creation God said to MANKIND, “Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and every creeping thing, that creepeth on the earth “ How could man become a slave to anything when we have been given dominion over ALL THINGS. Only if we reject the reality of our being and live again out of the ILLUSION.

What shall we say to all these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? Who can be our foe if God is on our side? (Ps 118:6) He who did not withhold even his only Son but gave him up for us all, will he not also with him freely and graciously give us all things? Who shall bring any charges against God’s elect when it is God that justifies, who puts us in right relation with himself? Who shall come forward and accuse or impeach those whom God has chosen? Will God who acquits us? Who is there to condemn us? Will Jesus Christ who died and rose again? who is at the right hand of the Father actually pleading as he intercedes for us? Who will separate us from Christ’s love? Shall suffering or affliction or tribulation? Or calamity and distress? Or persecution, or hunger or destitution or peril or sword? Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through him who loved us. For I am persuaded beyond any doubt, and I am sure that neither DEATH nor LIFE, nor ANGELS, nor PRINCIPALITIES, nor THINGS IMPENDING and threatening, nor THING TO COME, nor POWERS, nor HEIGHT, nor DEPTH, nor anything else in all of creation will be able to SEPARATE US FROM THE LOVE OF GOD WHICH IS IN CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD. Rom 8:31-39.  Amen!
